The Leader Manual is a valuable resource to have throughout your Girl Scout experience. It presents GSWC's policies, procedures, programs, and opportunities that support volunteers and girls. The policies and procedures presented in the Leader Manual augment and strengthen the GSUSA policies and standards in the Blue Book of Basic Documents Leaders' Digest and Safety-Wise.

The Leader Manual is distributed to all troop leaders, service unit team members, and council trainers. A review of this manual with a council trainer or as part of a take-home Orientation course is required as a component of leader training.
