Quick Program Details:

Girls can earn recognitions for nuts & candy sales as well as QSP sales!

Troops/groups will earn 20% of QSP sales (subscriptions, music cds, books, software) & 80 cents for each nut/candy item sold.

Troops/groups will earn an additional $2.50 for each completed Step 2 address booklet submitted, and each girl will receive a recognition for submitting the Step 2 booklet with her order (a complete booklet will have at least 10 names & addresses.)

Girls will receive patches and recognitions based on their magazine, music cd, book, software and nut sale orders.

Recognitions are cumulative.

Key Dates

~ Girls may take orders from Friday, February 22 through Sunday, March 9.

~ All orders & monies are due to troop leaders by March 10.

~ Leaders: All orders & monies due to the Service Center by March 14.

~ Nuts & candy will be delivered to your area on April 3.

~ Recognitions will be delivered at the same time as the product

Be a Reader Patch Program

Once again, we are proud to offer the Be a Reader Program, where girls complete a series of activities designed for all age levels to encourage reading and reinforce literacy concepts. This year’s booklet offers fun and exciting activities to help girls explore and develop self-esteem by focusing on how their minds, emotions and bodies combine to make them who they are. Those participants completing the Be A Reader Program requirements can purchase the patch and/or bees through Woodland Canoe, the GSWC council store.

There are excellent activities, links for fun, informative Internet activities, service project ideas and more! Don't miss out on this terrific, year round, activity resource booklet, included in your leader QSP Packet.
